A Day in Life:

The Market Manager serves as the senior on site leader for Oro Mobility’s autonomous vehicle depot operations supporting Uber’s robotaxi program. This role owns full site performance across depot operations, technical maintenance, field support, safety, and workforce execution in a 24/7 autonomous environment.

This position is accountable for operational readiness, fleet uptime, regulatory compliance, and successful partnership delivery with Uber, Nuro, and OEM partners. The role operates at the intersection of launch execution and steady state operations and is critical to scaling autonomous mobility safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do:
  • Own end to end autonomous depot operations, including vehicle readiness, maintenance, field support, safety, and staffing.
  • Lead and develop functional leaders across Depot Operations, Service/Maintenance, Field Support, and Parts.
  • Ensure compliance with Uber Fleet Operations Standards, AV partner technical requirements, and all California regulatory obligations.
  • Deliver performance against key KPIs including uptime, trip readiness, cost efficiency, audit outcomes, and SLA adherence.
  • Oversee workforce planning, hiring, training, performance management, and labor compliance for a 24/7 operation.
  • Partner directly with Uber, Nuro, and OEM stakeholders on launch readiness, escalations, and scaling plans.
  • Manage site financials, budgets, and cost controls within a cost plus operating model.
  • Lead incident response, safety governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure SOPs, tooling, systems, and operational controls are implemented, followed, and sustained.

What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years of experience in fleet operations, depot management, automotive service operations, or mobility environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading managers and large frontline teams in a 24/7 operational setting.
  • Experience with EV fleets, advanced vehicle systems, or autonomous operations strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate in high ambiguity, launch driven environments.
  • Strong operational, financial, and people leadership capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Valid California driver’s license.

What You'll Get:
  • The starting salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
